Matcha overload (Chanoma)

Went to a nice little desert store today (Chanoma) since I had some spare time with MM and NH.
Second time going there and still just as nice as last time :')

Chanoma!
Of course, went for matcha.

Had a try of the matcha soft serves that they have there; I was under the impression they would be quite small--like the ones at McDonald's, but nope. Turns out they're about 3 times bigger :)

Tasted so good :'D Worth the $2.90
But I didn't know it was this big till after I bought it...
So I also ended up buying a Matcha Oreo frappe... Yeah. I got very, very full by the end of this...
#badlifedecisions

Really nice frappe though; like it better than the plain matcha frappe.
Though seriously, matcha overload today. That caffeine's going to keep me up all night... ((that's okay, I'll finish my essay then))

Got quite full by the end, and actually couldn't finish my frappe... Never doing that again.

But it was a nice place :') Felt good to take some photos out and about.

Kikki.K Haul

Ordered a few things from kikki.k a week ago and they arrived and I got super excited so I took some photos. Also, it's been a while since I've taken photos using my DSLR so I needed a bit of stress relief.

I really like how they decorate the box
Ordered a few things for myself. Some friends also ordered a few things (so we could have free shipping).
Most of the stuff I bought was scrapbooking stuff though, which will eventually be given out to various close friends on their upcoming birthdays (I'm a bit short on time though..)

The wrapping paper was also really nice
The stuff was pretty expensive, to be honest, but it was on sale so I did save a fair bit.

It's hard to find any other place which sells scrapbooky materials in the same style as kikki.k; it's really nice and looks great in a scrapbook.
Some really neat card cutouts that look really great stuck here and there.
The things they sell are just so unique to the store so despite their price, I still buy them. In the end, it'll be gifted to someone anyway, so that justifies things??
Little envelopes with tiny cardboard insets
Bought sticker books too HAHA. Makes me sound like a little kid, but I actually really like stickers.

Camera stickers!
Purchased two different types of sticker books, both of which were 50% off.

They're really neat looking stickers, to be honest.

Also there was a nice little note in the box, which I thought was pretty sweet.
That's one thing I like about kikki.k. They put a lot of detail into the things they produce and do.
"Hej (Swedish for Hello),
Thank you for your order
We hope you enjoy your
Delicious purchases
Love, Kikki.k"

Also on the back:
"tack -- n. swedish for thank you."
Much money. Much spending. Much worth it??

Fruit: Mangoes (And Kiwi)

Also, the mango tree at the front of our house was really pumping out the fruit.

A few days ago we managed to collect 47 mangoes :')

A lot of them don't look very ripe, but give them a few days and they become some of the best tasting mangoes ever

I'm not a huge fan of mango, but I'll say that these ones do taste pretty good.

Their flesh isn't as soft as the ones in stores, and they've got more of a tangy/sour taste (i.e., less sweet), but I actually prefer this over the sweet ones that you can purchase.

An orange for comparison in size!
And then this photo isn't exactly relevant, but I was studying and I had a plate of kiwi fruit.
Of course this happens.

All that cluster of studying material...
Photoshoot of anything, anywhere, anytime.

Recent Adventures: Kidneys, Maths, & Ice-Cream

Felt like an update;

Life's been pretty busy recently, and I haven't exactly gone anywhere exciting because it's the school term and exams are coming up.

But I've had a few things happen to me here and there. Nothing too exciting, but I figured I might as well dump some photos here.

Story #1

Last week (? or was it the week before) we had a kidney dissection in biology class. Pretty exciting!

It was a lot harder than expected to make a full clean cut through the kidney... Got a little impatient.
Maybe I shouldn't consider becoming a surgeon.
Would go into a lengthy biological explanation of the kidney and such, but this is not the place.
I really like dissections, actually.

Story #2

Been going to libraries very frequently the past week or so, and on Monday I went with a couple of friends, JG and HG.

JG produces a really nice conics question, and so all of us being rather big math nerds, decided to give it a shot. We assign HG to tell us an important equation that is central to working out the question, so he works it out for us.

Except, HG works out the wrong formula.
We were too unbothered to check our books, and so we continued for 1.5 hours doing this one math question with the wrong formula.

Obviously, nothing worked out. We ended up proving the complete opposite of what the question was asking us to do, and we spent ages just racking our brains trying to figure out what was wrong.

Eventually, we realised, and we just all lost it.

JG recovering from the trauma, amidst the battle-field.

Story #3

Not much of a story, but went out to Baskin Robbins for ice-cream today with my friend MM

Decided to take up the challenge and buy 2 entire scoops instead of 1, even though I'd just had lunch.
Needless to say, I later regretted that decision. But it tasted good.

Strawberry cheesecake and Chocolate Turtle Truffle!
Really liked the strawberry cheesecake flavour, but then again, I just love cheesecake in general.

MM's ice cream. Love Potion #1.
Also, ooft dem nails.

Alright. That's a good-enough update for now.

Never fear. Holidays are almost here. More (exciting) stories soon.

AAA Week

Hey! Been a while.

Two weeks ago we had AAA week at my school.
It's an event-filled week for Awareness, Acceptance, and Anti-discrimination, ranging from various topics and such.

Tuesday's "Rainbow Road" for LGBT Anti-Discrimination Awareness.
There was a bunch of chalk for everyone to contribute to our Rainbow Road in the middle of the quad. It actually lasted till Wednesday! (but then it rained)

I was one of the few people who organised it, so it was a busy week (hence the lack of posts), but I enjoyed it heaps, and hopefully we leave a good legacy at the school.

Here's one of our 'Compliment Boards' (This one is Year 12's) that we had running for the first half of the week.
Anyone could come along and put compliments up for anyone else in the school.  It turned out a lot better than we expected and I thought it was a great idea.

We were also in the local Hills paper twice!

Another picture of the Rainbow Road
Taken on my iPhone, so may be a little low on the quality side of things. Missing that bokeh :(
I'm pretty proud of how everything turned out :)
Just a quick update.

(also, been super busy recently so a lack of posts and photos.)
